Earl Grey tea

20 wrapped tea bags (40 gr) box

FLAVOURED BLACK TEA: Bergamot flavoured tea with warm and bright notes. The Earl Gray tea is an English classic known since Charles Gray, Fallodon Earl and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the British Kingdom in the mid-nineteenth century, who received from a Chinese mandarin an old recipe for flavoring his tea with bergamot.

This very famous Bergamot tea illustrates all of the British elegance. The legendary elegance of the English Lords can be recognized in this pairing of black tea and Bergamot, whose origin dates back to the 18th century. To overcome the infamous taste of water, Count Grey's Chinese servant had the idea of adding slices of Bergamot to the black tea. The count and his family were captivated by this unique recipe. Later becoming British Prime Minister in 1830, he helped make this recipe famous.
